Making of a silk dress with a wing painted on it.
With dye in color blue black.
Realistic feathers placed unrealistically.
A long story told as is.
By artist/escapist Yuko Nagai, currently Miss Sore Thumb in a rural Japanese town
who rambles about random stuff as well.
Read on.
Thank you.

captivated by the cold-blooded

recently,
yours truly visited an aquarium in suburban tokyo

below:
everyone joining in
(it was a very large tank...)

nice under-jaw symmetrical squash patterns

next:
you are in captivity
have no business smiling like that

below:
narcissus, aren't you?

"...seen the light..."

the next guy is the most cooperative of all
he posed for me showing 3 different angles

(serious)

this one came out the best
see his confident demeanor

next:
all paused still

performance art?
perhaps

next two:
frozen in tank
remained completely still
unmoved by my intrusion

last:
tokyoites
warm-blooded and
on the loose

the place is in a funky little town named kichijyouji
the aquarium is part of this zoo

thank you for your visit

the first sunrise of the year
beaming through beach debris

wishing you all out there
a year to remember---
