portrait of who the h*ll-2

season's greetings from webmaster:
plum blossom-spring's just around the corner

then comes the guessing game

something i did a while back from
a photo on computer screen

can you tell who this is (supposed to be)?

hint: she's an actress and is no longer living

additionally, on march 4th, '08
(big) hint2 :
she was photographed being carried out of court room, charged heavily for a rather small offence. the photo became very well-known.
the drawing was from one of the photos of her another (short) stay in jail.
(i am trying to locate the original photo in webspace)

My guess is Katherine Hepburn?--great portrait by the way!

Hi BB---actually, it does look a bit like her (especially the hair) but no, it wasn't her (that I tried to capture). Thankyu for coming by ;^J

hello yuko

best wishes, eve

hi eve---
come to think of it, her eyebrows do resemble bergman but no, it's not her. in fact, the lady in question had caused some upset at studio for refusing to get her brows plucked.
thanks for your visit ;^J

i'm stuck on this!

she has something of jean harlow about her, but the lips remind me of sandra dee.

she looks deep in thought or is she dazzle by the sun.

a wonderfully moody picture.

Hm. I was gonna say ingrid bergman, but she's out. Are you sure it's not her? There is of course the possibility that I don't know her...
I want to say Ida Lupino, not because she resembles her so much, but just because I feel like mentioning her ;-)

she is neither harlow nor dee, but you're right, she's indeed (probably) in thought, dazzled and moody.

jo norm,
i thought my pic was obscure enough, but who the h*ll is ida? (well, that's what the google's for, right? ;^)

thankyu for your visit, everyone!!
